Imasen Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is an automobile parts manufacturer headquartered in Inuyama, Aichi Prefecture.

The company produces seat adjusters for automobiles as its main product and has been supplying products mainly to Japanese manufacturers such as Honda, Nissan Motor, Fuji Heavy Industries and Mitsubishi Motors.

It also supplies electronic units which are essential parts to control electronic devices and auto parts such as horns and lamps.
Recent business results are fairly strong. For the fiscal year ending March 2019, net sales increased 1.1% to ¥ 118,579 million, operating income increased 14.0% to ¥ 3,740 million, and ordinary income increased 8.5% to ¥ 3,691 million. 
In the core auto parts related business, production decreased in North America due to sluggish sales of vehicles which use parts Imasen supplies but increase of production in Japan and China contributes strong sales and incomes compared to the previous year.
The company is working on labor saving and quality improvement by automation using robots and cameras.
It integrated production system from molding to assembly by concentrating the lamp business to the Okayama plant as a restructuring of the domestic business.
In the global strategy it has expanded Wuhan plant in China with the aim of increasing production and strengthening cost competitiveness in order to optimize overseas bases.
To expand its production area beyond automobile segment, it developed a walk support aircraft, aLQ in June 2017 targeting the elderly as the main customer.

A spring attached to the waist stretches and contracts in accordance with the movement of the foot during walking and helps to swing the foot forward.
This new product was developed in collaboration with Nagoya Institute of Technology aiming at maintaining the health of elderly people.
Since its founding as a horn manufacturer in 1939, Imasen continues to diversify its products and nowadays it provides a variety of products using its high technology that respond to the sophisticated needs of car users and increasing needs of aging society.
