As for its fiscal year ended March in 2019, the sales are down 0.3% from last year to 12,823 million yen, operating income is down 40.1% to 684 million yen and ordinary income is down 39.7% to 694 million yen.
Under these circumstances, the company is expanding its plant in Kaizu city, Gifu Prefecture enlarging its production system expected to start in December this year.
The sanitary materials market such as disposable diapers is expected to continue growing in the future because of the aging population in Japan and the economic growth and increasing hygiene awareness in emerging countries.
